When I asked Christine, Owner of Grow Play Share, Children’s Consignment Events to tell me a bit about herself, this is what she said, “I am Christine Cragg, a child of God learning to ‘Walk with the King’ in all areas of my life.  I am a wife, mother to a 7 month old son and a woman with a spirit that doesn’t quit.  I may change my mind, but I don’t quit.   A heart and a spirit for others realizing that as Zig Ziglar says, ‘the only way to get what you want in life is to help enough other people get what they want’. If you don’t have what you want or aren’t as successful as you would like to be, then you have not yet helped enough other people.” With the emphasis on the word yet; as I believe we are all still in the process of making a difference. God will always provide the opportunities and it’s up to us to both recognise them and act upon them accordingly.

I haven’t known Christine for long, but from what I have seen; Christine truly walks the walk even through life’s ups and downs.

Christine, like many of our WWAVpreneurs recognise that her business is her ministry and that often times, one of the main advantages we have in overcoming challenges in the marketplace, as we do in life, is by relying on the power of prayer.  In this business, there are a lot of variables that are out of her control. Christine humbly recognises, “If I don’t get the consignors I’ll have nothing to sell, if I don’t get the shoppers I’ll have no one to buy, and then my consignor’s won’t participate again”.  And time and time again, she has witnessed God show up on-time, every time in each of these areas.  It really is an incredible thing.

Saturday, April 5th is Grow Play Share’s 8th event in Milton and we are excited to have Christine as part of our WWAV family.  These events provide such a needful service to the community and it’s wonderful to see what an impact her ‘marketplace ministry’ has been on not only her customers, but her growing community of consignors as well.  Quite a few women have commented to me personally about how well organised and professionally executed the Grow Play Share events are.  If you want quality children’s products coupled with excellent value, this truly is the place to be this Saturday (and Friday for the expectant Mom’s sneak peak).

As you can imagine these events require a clear vision and a whole lot of hands to ensure its success and that everyone walks away with a fantastic experience.  With that said, Christine is always looking for volunteers to help her through the process.  Since these events are only twice a year, it’s especially a great opportunity for high school students who may be looking to fulfill some of their mandatory volunteer hours in a short period of time.

These Grow Play Share events have proven to be such a huge blessing and outreach to the community over the years.  Perhaps this year, you will consider becoming a volunteer, consigner, or just come on out and save some of your well-earned dollars by purchasing gently used children’s items at very affordable prices!  Visit for more details.

All the best on Saturday, Christine!  Be blessed as God continues to make you a blessing.
