Starting an organization is a daunting task. With much to consider and lots to do it was an amazing experience to be a part of the Butterfly Groove program.

This program took me, logically, through the deep thinking that was required to develop a strong business underpinning that included my vision, mission and other important foundational concepts. The beauty of the Butterfly Groove program is that it also provided practical exercises and follow-through with balanced accountability to ensure that by the end I had a great foundation to build upon.

It’s time to BE READY so you don’t have to GET READY!

Now may the God Who gives the power of patient endurance (steadfastness) and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, That together you may [unanimously] with united hearts and one voice, praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

Amidst all the junk in the world here’s one thing that I KNOW. Our God has called us to COMPLETE not COMPETE. Who are you called to serve? What super powers did God give you to be shared among the people of this world? Your gifts, talents, training and life experiences were not embodied within you for yourself alone. I sense you get that already, which is why you are still reading this.

I truly believe one of the greatest travesties in life is not walking and working in (and from) our full potential, but instead holding ourselves back from being the powerful woman of God He created us to be.

As I was in prayer this morning, I had a picture of God pulling me back in a giant-sized slingshot. As He pulled the elastic further and further back I noticed I was digging my heels into the ground so He wouldn’t pull me back too far. I knew that the further He pulled me back the farther and higher I would fly. In the image He showed me that I was “digging in my heels” because I didn’t know where or how hard I would land. Then I immediately saw a picture of His giant-sized hands holding a beautiful soft fluffy pillow where I landed.

Is this you? You KNOW you are full of potential, but for whatever reason you are holding back? Using well-meaning excuses to cover-up the fear may very well cause you to disqualify yourself from fulfilling God’s call on your life.

Here’s the thing, the opposite is just as true! When we stop using excuses and face the fear head-on, we GET to be VICTORIOUS over that fear causing us to Level Up rather than be disqualified.

Hi, I’m Tristin Burns, CVO (Chief Visionary Officer), Founder, and Vision Strategist of VISIONFOCUSED® Strategies Inc.. With over 30 years Business, Change Management, Project Management and People Management experience in the Financial, Technological and Educational sectors, I have had the pleasure of designing and instructing classes and Mastermind Groups for hundreds of students on a wide variety of topics.

My passion and purpose is to help individuals and organizations develop and implement their God-given Strategic Vision.
